Over the last two decades online, there have been many must-have tools and resources I've found to be incredibly helpful for growing and automating my online businesses and cash-flow.
I get asked all the time: "Who do you use for ________?"
So I put up this page to share all my favorite tools and resources.
Some are paid, some are free, and some are just too damn cool not to include.
If you have any questions about any of the companies or services below, feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help.
Disclosure: Being completely transparent here, you should know that some of the listings on this page contain affiliate links. So if you make a purchase through them, I'll receive a referral commission (at no additional cost to you). I only recommend or link to products and services that I've personally researched, vetted, tested, believe in and use... but I'd recommend them even if I didn't receive a commission - they're that good.
Getresponse - Let's get the obvious out of the way first. If you're not building a list of engaged subscribers, you're not building an online business, period. Hands down, building your list is the #1 thing you can do to grow your business and income.
I've been using Getresponse for over 15 years and it's great for newbies as well as seasoned pros. Getresponse offers a 30-day free trial. After that, pricing starts at only $20/month.
Side Note: While Aweber might be the best-known autoresponder on the planet, they've become increasingly rigid about promoting biz opps. In fact, at this point, they're not biz opp friendly, which is why I no longer recommend them.
Drip - Drip isn't your typical, run-of-the-mill email autoresponder. Instead, it's an automation-focused email marketing tool that has a built-in lead scoring system which I love. Drip focuses on using tags and events, then lets you see who your most actively engaged (and valuable) subscribers are.
Then Drip helps you turn those insights into more moola by sending personalized, lazer-targeted emails that are likely to be opened and engaged with.
But what I also really dig is that their email deliverability is super high compared to most of the other big-name autoresponders out there.
Drip's Basic plan costs $49 per month (up 2,500 contacts) and they offer a free 14-day trial. Click here to check 'em out.
Namecheap - As the name implies, this company is well-known for their low prices on domain names. Sometimes you can get some incredible deals. If nothing else, hop on their newsletter so you can get notified whenever they launch a new special.
Namecheap has also expanded into other services like web hosting, but I recommend only using them as a domain registrar. They don't specialize in those other services like the hosting company I recommend in the next section.
Click here to find a cheap domain with Namecheap for less than $10 a year.
Bluehost – Website hosting is what you use to host the website and make it live, like this website you're on right now. Once it's setup then it's easy to edit everything in the backend.
I wish I'd known about Bluehost years ago. Why? Because it's incredibly easy to use and its 1-click automatic WordPress installation could've saved me tons of wasted time that I spent trying to figure it out on my own.
If you don't have a hosting account yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Bluehost for your first site. What's cool is that you can use the same hosting account to host multiple domains, which definitely comes in handy if you plan on creating more websites. Bluehost offers great customer support via phone or chat, and you can get started for as little as $3.95 a month!

ThriveArchitect - When it comes to making money online, one thing all 6- and 7-figure earners have in common is they have their own personally branded website.
Just like I've been teaching in my Attraction Marketing Blueprint for over a decade, no website = no success. If you're trying to break into the online world without a website of your own, you're gonna have short lived success. VERY SHORT LIVED.
Good news is, building a website these days is very easy when you use Thrive Architect. It's my absolute favorite WordPress website building and blogging tool. In fact, I use ThriveArchitect to build all of my websites, including THIS one.
It's intuitive drag-and-drop interface allows you to easily create snazzy looking blogs, squeeze pages, pre-launch pages, sales letters, and complete funnels on the fly. I couldn't imagine building my online businesses without it.
So, if you want a super sexy site, then check out ThriveArchitect.
ClickFunnels - This all-in-one platform is the Rolls Royce tool for creating some pretty epic funnels (aka, lead magnets, capture pages, splash pages, etc.) where you can begin to grow your email list.
It gives you everything you need to market, sell, and deliver your products and services online, track affiliates, handle your email marketing, and so much more… all without having to hire or rely on a tech team, or have any coding experience whatsoever.
You can try ClickFunnels FREE for 14 days to see if it's for you.
The only extra thing you'll need is an email autoresponder (I recommend Getresponse and you can also get a 30-day free trial HERE).
ClickMagick - This is my favorite link tracking service ever! I've tried a lot of them over the years, but CM is the easiest one to use, especially for online marketing newbies.
Even with their cheapest monthly plan you'll find so many features and analytics. Plus, you can also setup URL Rotators. One of their nifty features is the ability to redirect mobile traffic to a different URL if the one you're using isn't mobile responsive. You can do similar types of redirects based on geographic targeting as well.
CM offers a free trial for the first 14 days. Then it's just $17 a month if paid monthly, or $12 a month if paid annually. Unlimited tracking links and up to 10,000 clicks a month allowed with this starter plan. It's worth every penny and I use this service daily.

SBS - This zero-money-out-of-pocket financing source has been helping my clients quickly get approved for up to $35,000 in funding.
You can get funded for:
All you need is a 620 credit score and make $30k gross per year in verifiable income (1099 form, W2 form, pay stubs, bank statements, tax return, annuity statement, etc.), and you're basically approved!
Camtasia Studio – Camtasia makes it easy to record and create professional-looking videos. It's quick to learn and you don't need a big budget or fancy video editing skills. Simply record your screen, add a few effects and shazaam!, you've got yourself a killer video.
I've personally been using Camtasia for years to create and edit all my video sales letters and screencast videos, and it's one of the best user-friendly video creation tools available. By the way, if you're on a Mac, ScreenFlow is a great alternative option.
Vimeo Pro - This convenient video hosting platform allows you to upload and share videos via email or embed on your own website without having to pay a hefty monthly fee like you do with other platforms.
With Vimeo, you can decide if you want to keep videos private and password protected, or make them publicly accessible. Vimeo makes it easy to restrict access to any video you upload so that they can only be viewed on your website. It's the best value for video hosting that I've found and it comes with a bunch of useful bells and whistles.
99designs – If you're ever in need of a good graphic designer, 99Designs is a great resource. They have a unique design contest process where you submit a description of what you want, and then multiple designers compete against each other to deliver the best design for your creative needs — anything from logos to business cards to full-blown website graphics.
Canva - Once you've got your business up and running, it's time to make it look good. Fortunately, Canva makes it easy to create great looking images and graphics, without needing to hire a professional designer. What I dig about Canva is that their graphics platform is extremely easy to use.
They have a premium subscription plan, but I've found that you can actually do a lot with the free version to get started creating social media images, cover photos, video thumbnails or whatever else you need.
3D Box Graphic Designer - An easy and inexpensive DIY tool to make all kinds of professional looking 3D graphics for ebooks, courses and other products that require realistic images.
Long Tail Pro – This is by far one of my all-time favorite keyword tools. It's quick, easy, and spits out hundreds of keywords in a matter of seconds. But even more importantly, it then allows you to see exactly how competitive each of those keywords are, which will give you a general idea of how long it will take to rank for those particular keywords in Google.
RoboForm – I've been using this password manager for over 17 years. It makes web browsing easier and more secure, so you'll no longer have to worry about remembering hundreds of different passwords.
EverNote – This is one of my favorite tools online. I use it pretty much every day. Evernote allows you to take notes, save website url's, web clips, files, images and even entire webpages. I primarily use it to manage my online swipe file, mark down ideas for new products, and keep a running list of article ideas, subject lines, etc.
Calendly – Online appointment scheduling made easy. Take the headache out of going back and forth trying to coordinate appointments with your prospects and clients. Leverage your time like I do by letting them schedule a meeting based on your availability.

Zamzar – This free online conversion tool allows you to convert an almost unlimited amount of different media file types and formats, including documents, images, audios, videos, etc. Use it to convert your files to different formats quickly and easily.
YouConvertIt – Similar to ZamZar, this site allows you to convert almost any type of file.
